With 23 years working primarily as a Buyer's Agent, Jim has a very high-level of experience crafting winning contracts on behalf of his clients. He is particularly adept in preparing offers designed to prevail in a very competitive market in which every transaction typically involves sellers considering and choosing among multiple offers.

In 1990, after deciding to focus on real estate on a full-time basis, property management services were added. Over the next several years, on a strictly referral basis, the companys portfolio increased to 65 managed properties, including a 40-unit condominium project.
Jim has a life-long interest in community service. Among his activities over the years, he was a member of the Board of Directors, National Wellness Coalition; Founder of HumanityWatch (a non-profit educational organization) and president of the Silver Spring Rotary Club (a community service organization).
Prior to establishing a full-time practice in real estate in 1990, Jim was president of The Performance Group, Inc., a management and consulting firm which he founded in 1979. The Performance Group provided strategic planning and project management services to such clients as MCI Communications, AT&T, the Departments of Justice and the Navy, the American Red Cross, Bell Atlantic as well as small businesses and non-profit organizations.
